Indonesia has introduced a new health card, which has drawn much criticism. The new health alert card is known as the International Health Card. In keeping with World Health Day the design of this card is a blue health ring with the text"illi Indonesian". The blue color of the ring is a representation of the seas of both Java and Borneo in Indonesia.

Despite the introduction of those special cards some are critical of the design. They believe that the font should be bolder and darker to represent the island of Indonesia. On the other hand some are unhappy with the color combination of the cards. Some people feel that the health card generates too much confusion among people.

Indonesia has had a healthcare program in place for many decades. Lately there have been a lot of problems with the delivery of healthcare services. It is well known that Indonesia has the maximum rate of infant mortality compared to any other nation in Asia. Bearing this in mind that the health alert card has been introduced to attempt and improve the health of the Indonesian men and women.

However, some are concerned that with the different colors on the health alert card it causes confusion. There is also the concern about the different font sizes on the card. These issues are being deliberated upon by the Indonesian government. They are taking a look at ways to present a uniform credit card to fight this confusion. There is also a concern that the color blue may lead to confusion with the Indonesian national colours of gold and green.

Currently the cards are still being designed. The font will most likely stay the same as it's been for the last couple of years. Other colors like black and white are being contemplated but nothing is final as far since it is concerned. It is expected that in the near future all of the black cards will be blue.

The health alert card is essentially a public service card that carries your medical information such as allergies, vitamins, medications, diabetic direction etc.. If you've ever gotten a health alert card previously, you will observe that they contain your name, phone number, address and name of your doctor. This usually means that this card can save lives if a health emergency were to occur. With the current progress in technology that the government hopes to produce the health conscious card more user friendly in the future.
